Our university's international student team participated in the 5th Confucian Classics Competition.


Recently, the award results of the 5th Cross-Linguistic Recitation Conference on Confucian Classics were officially announced. The competing team, composed of several international students under the guidance of Ms.Guo Jialing from our university, won the Third Prize in the International Adult Group Recitation Category for their outstanding cross-linguistic recitation performance; all team members were also awarded Social Practice Certificates by the conference.




This conference is jointly organized by the Nishan World Confucianism Center, the China Confucius Foundation, the Shandong Provincial Department of Education, the Shandong Provincial Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and the Management Committee of the ChinaShanghai Cooperation Organization Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone, under the theme "Benevolence and Ritual Harmony: Shared Beauty and Mutual Prosperity." The event attracted over 60,000 participants from more than 60 countries worldwide, with a total of over 31,000 entries submitted. The competition comprises three main categoriesrecitation, performance, and essay writingas well as multiple bilingual tracks, offering broad coverage and high professional rigor.

During the preparation period, under the meticulous guidance of Ms.Guo Jialing, our school's international student team delved deeply into the core principles of Confucian classical culture, meticulously refining their recitation texts, linguistic rhythm, and video presentation techniquesthereby building a bridge for cultural exchange between China and the world through the distinctive format of Chinese recitation. Thanks to their solid expertise and thorough preparation, the team's performance successfully passed two rounds of online evaluation by the organizing committee's experts and ultimately earned a prestigious award.




This participation event allowed international students to experience the cultural allure of Confucian classics in an immersive manner, effectively honing their cross-cultural communication and international outreach skills; it serves as a vivid demonstration of our university's achievements in fostering cultural exchange between China and the world. Our institution has always placed great emphasis on providing international students with traditional cultural education and has continuously established diversified cultural practice platforms. Moving forward, our university will continue to deepen its efforts in facilitating cultural exchanges between China and the world, guiding international students to serve as cultural ambassadorsusing the voice of youth to promote Chinese classics and tell China's stories effectively.
